Safety update: Working From Heights

From October 1 2026, Work Health and Safety Regulations 79, managing falls from heights, comes into effect across the building industry. Working from heights of 2 meters or more, is classified as high-risk construction and requires a SWMS to be completed before works can begin onsite.
This needs to be completed by all contractors engaged in high-risk construction, for every job site they work on. Copies of their SWMS must be kept onsite (digital or hard copies) and be able to be produced upon request.
